George Sapio (Nate Wannemaker) is a playwright, director,
actor, and photographer whose latest play, "These Matters Be Kynges
Games" just had its debut at the Kitchen Theatre. He has also written
"Ghosts," which won the 2001 Panowski Award from Northern Michigan
University. Among his directing credits are K.R. Harris' "Half-Ton
Piano," Shakespeare's "Macbeth," Ben Elton's "Gasping,"
and Doug Hill's "Roulette." Additional film acting credits include
Reynaud and the Magistrate in the upcoming "Unoccupied Zone"
by Cathy Lee Crane, and short-lived thug named Texas in Michael Donegan's
"Jacks or Better." Recent stage credits include Earl in Lanford
Wilson's "Book of Days," Martin Dysart in Sir Peter Shaffer's
"Equus," and Cowboy in "Beef Junkies." He is a charter
member of the Brobdingnagian Players, the Icarus Theatre Ensemble, and
founder of Bad Dog! Productions.
